1.Pandora Radio is officially my most favorite application right now! You can go to www.pandora.com from your blackberry browser to download this application. Basically this application allows you to create your own stations. All you have to do is enter in the artists or the titles of the songs that you would like to hear ,Pandora will create a radio station that will play music of that same genre. I currently have about 10 stations. My stations include, hip-hop, soft rock, neo-soul, gospel, the enjoyable Cuban rhythms of Ibrahim Ferrer..... and everything in between.

2 YOUMAIL is my second favorite application. For those of us who are tired of paying the extra $2.99 for visual voicemail through our carrier, Youmail is the app for you! Save that extra change for a Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks. The impressive thing about this app is that it will address your contacts by name when the voicemail answers.You also have the option of having a different voicemail greeting for specific callers .

3.WEATHER BUG- Displays LIVE local weather conditions in the world featuring detailed forecasts, radar,live camera shots, news, and severe weather alerts. The program is available for download from WeatherBug's website, WeatherBug is also available for download for iPhone or iPod Touch via the App Store.

4.BBTRAN- I fell across this app one day and will not let it go. This is much more that your basic "Spanish, English, French" translator. BBTran is a online multi-translation application for BlackBerry devices. It translates words, phrases, sentences, and does a dictionary lookup in 40+ languages with 1000+ translation directions. BBTran pulls it's information from various online services such as Google Translate, Systran, FreeTranslation, Reference.com.... what more can I say? My only dislike with this app is that it doesn't allow you to copy and paste the translated phrase or sentence. Even with that.... BBtran is a keeper! Abra-Ka-Dabra!!

Vodafone(the global partner of Verizon Wireless) will launch the HTC Magic, the Taiwanese company's second handset based on Google's Android platform, May 5--though there is no timeline yet for a U.S. launch date.

As expected, the Magic will be free with a two-year contract. In the UK the service will be about $51 per month. The plan includes unlimited web use, 700 minutes of calls, 250 text messages and unlimited calls to landlines and other Vodafone customers.

HTC unveiled the HSPA/WCDMA phone at Mobile World Congress in February. The device features a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a full virtual Qwerty keyboard, doing away with the T-Mobile G1's slide-out keyboard. The design also is much sleeker than the G1, which was criticized for its clunky form factor. The Magic has a trackball(this will be a test for true Blackberry heads), WiFi and features Google's various mobile applications.

Interestingly, the Magic has appeared in FCC documents with T-Mobile USA's logo on it, though the carrier has given no indication as to when it will launch the phone in the U.S. The phone is apparenly capable of supporting T-Mobile's 1700 MHz AWS 3G spectrum band.

HTC has promised at least two more Android phones, besides the Magic, before the year is over.
