iPhone App: Guitar Tab Audio Artillery

I didn't forget about our iPhone owners.
Guitar Tab enables you to store music tablature for guitar, bass, mandolin, or any other instrument you can find tabs for on your iPhone or iPod Touch. A simple interface allows you to download any tab you wish across a Wi-Fi connection from the personal computer of your choice. Great for guitar lessons, band practice, or any situation where you want to take your music with you for reference. hit the jump for more details.....



Once downloaded to your device just select the tab you want to display from the main menu. The tab is displayed in a zoom-able, pan-able format for easy reading and maximum convenience. Landscape mode is also supported.

iPhone Game: SpaceWar IPA

SpaceWar is an interesting and adventurous war game with advanced spacecrafts, missiles, bullets, fireballs, shields etc. Player controls a spacecraft using accelerometer interface and destroys as many enemy spacecrafts as it can while saving its own craft from enemy attack. Player's spacecraft is equipped with missile system and bullets. A missile or a bullet can be fired by touching the screen. Missile is fired only when an enemy craft is locked by its radar (indicated by a red ring). Player can also gain a shield by capturing a "shield coin" that is available intermittently.

One of the coolest new features is definitely the ability to add contacts via the barcode scanner. Within BlackBerry Messenger, you can now generate a unique barcode (visual representation of your device PIN) which people can then scan using the camera of their device. No more hunting for PINs and trying to type them out (which is a pain in the butt to try and do while out for an evening of socializing... which is when a lot of PIN exchanges happen these days).

Leaked: OS 5.0.0.140 For BlackBerry Storm 9530

It looks like a Chinese site has posted OS 5.0.0.140 for the BlackBerry Storm 9530. This is a recent development so we don't have many details, but if you're willing to give it a shot, let us know the results. Keep in mind that because OS 5.0 is not official yet, a lot of your existing apps may not work on 5.0 even with a successful operating system upgrade. If you are asked for a password when extracting the file, use "raysource".

Samsung announces Comeback and Gravity 2 for T-Mobile

Samsung let loose two messaging phones today for T-Mobile USA. These phones are not feature packed but gives the full QWERTY keyboard goodness at a very affordable price. First up is Comeback (SGH-t559) and as we know, it is a dual screen horizontal flip phone that sports a full QWERTY keyboard, 3G, 2MP camera, music player, GPS and expandable memory up to 16GB.


Gravity 2 (SGH-t469) takes the helm from the original Gravity and brings a horizontal sliding QWERTY keyboard, 2MP camera, music player, memory up to 16GB and boat load of T-Mobile services.

Comeback is already selling for $129.99 with a two-year agreement while Gravity 2 is expected to arrive in August.
