Free Games for Blackberry Storm: Maze Ball Motion Game for The Blackberry Storm

The accelerometer based games are the best ones for the Blackberry Storm, they involve more than the button, in fact the device itself is the control. The motion based games are just amazing and by far my favorite, and I found a pretty cool game that is partially free, you can try a demo free version but the full game is 9 dollars. The game is very neat and looks amazing on the Blackberry Storm. The whole point of the game is to move the ball through the maze and avoid the obstacles or you will have to start all over again, the control is the whole device, you can move your Storm and tilt it and the ball with respond to the movements, a pretty cool game I have to say.You can download the free game here:

Tetherberry For Mac Beta Now Available!

If you're unfamiliar with TetherBerry, it's an application that lets you tether your BlackBerry device to a PC (and now Mac) using only your device data. If you're a Mac user, definitely check this out and report back with your findings. A full release is only a couple weeks away, and we'll have a few free copies to give away at that time. Keep in mind this is a beta release so it may not work at full capacity. Also, be sure you have an unlimited data plan and check your carrier terms and conditions because the guys at TetherBerry aren't going to pay your data bill. You can head over to http://www.tetherberry.com/mac_beta to sign up for the beta.

Beyond160 for CDMA Users Lets You SMS All You Want

The simple app lets you type out SMS messages until your fingers hurt. If they are over 160 characters, instead of stopping you, it will split them up into multiple messages and send to the recipient. While this may not be an issue for GSM users, we CDMA users have had to deal with the 160 character cap for way too long. Beyond160 is definitely worth checking out.

Get Beyond160: Beyond160 sells for $6.99, but if you swing by the CrackBerryAppStore.com on your device browser or visit the Hot section on our updated client, you can use coupon code CBBEYOND160LAUNCH at checkout and save $2.00. Coupon code expires this Sunday. * coupon code will not work in web-based app store

Samsung announces Star S5230 and Preston S5600 touchscreen phones

Never resting on their laurels, Samsung has just cranked out two new touchscreen handsets for this year: Star S5230 and Preston S5600. There’s no mistaking these as Samsungs given their looks — you can tell they’re obviously related to the Instinct and the Behold. The S5230 is a 2.5G handset (really?) coupled with a 3-inch WQVGA display and the S5600 sports 3G and features a 2.8-inch QVGA display. No pricing is available but expect to hear about it soon as the handsets launch in Europe and Asia this month.
